Education in Environmental Chemistry in Europe—Confronting Future Challenges in Research and Regulation

At the 18th International Conference on Chemistry and the Environment (ICCE) in Venice, June 2023, a session on higher education in environmental science continued discussions from previous conferences. This is particullalry relevant for the Ecotechnology programme at MPŠ. The focus was on improving graduate and post-graduate programs by integrating practical training, particularly in environmental chemistry, to develop essential green skills. A survey during the session gathered participant feedback on the education of environmental chemistry, providing insights for future program development. The session emphasized the need to prepare future experts with the interdisciplinary skills necessary for sustainable environmental solutions, which is also one of the strategic priorities for the MPŠ.
