Short summary:
Heart diseases, particularly chronic heart failure (CHF), pose major global health challenges. This thesis leverages artificial intelligence to analyse heart sounds, enabling accurate detection of critical CHF phases. The novel PCGmix method enhances heart disease detection from heart sounds by generating new data when real data are limited.
