Short summary:
Barium zirconate titanate-barium calcium titanate (BZT-BCT) thin films are an environment-friendly alternative to lead-based ferro- and piezoelectrics. By adapting the precursor solution chemistry and thermal processing conditions, BZT-BCT films with promising energy storage properties were obtained.
