MPŠ/IPS through the lens - Photo Contest

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School (MPŠ/IPS), we are thrilled to launch a video contest with which we want to celebrate the achievements and innovations that have marked the past 20 years, while looking to the future with hope and excitement for all that is yet to come.
The contest is open to everyone - students currently attending our programs, teachers sharing their knowledge and passion with the next generations, and alumni who have already combined their academic journey with successes in various professional spheres.
The contest is an opportunity to present your research work, as well as vibrant student life, in a creative and original way. From the early hours, when conversations about the latest scientific discoveries happen over the first cup of coffee, to late evenings when the lights in the laboratories still don't go out, we want your videos to capture the spirit of innovation, dedication, and community that define IPS.
We invite you to capture those unforgettable moments and stories through the lens that best illustrates what it means to be part of our school. You can create footage of advanced research projects that push the boundaries of science, insights into the daily academic routine, events that strengthen the community, or moments that express the joy of discovering something new.
Participation Conditions:
- Video length: Up to 20 seconds.
- Format: Horizontal, FULL HD 1920 X 1080p (file format .mp4)
- Quantity: Up to three videos per contest participant.
- How to submit: Send to mps@mps.si with the subject "Contest" including your name and a short description of the content (up to 50 words).
Important Dates:
- Submission deadline: Until 30th April 2024, 24:00 (CET).
- Announcement of results: 10th May 2024.
Evaluation:
- The best contributions will be selected by a five-member committee consisting of school representatives and external experts.
Use of Material:
- By submitting, you agree to the use of your videos for the promotion of IPS on the website and social networks.
Prize:
- The three best videos will be awarded 100 EUR net.
Additional:
- Videos must be your original work and must not violate the rights of others.
- We are looking for creativity, originality, and a clear message about the values of our school.
