IPS invites you to the Defence of the Master Thesis by Davud Topalović entitled: Internet of Things-Based Residential Building Thermal Model Identification Using Neural Differential Equations. The Defence will take place on Monday, 9 September 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the E5 Department Seminar Room, JSI, Jamova cesta 39, Ljubljana and via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89488414011?pwd=MrJpPje4Em1qLg3hWixXvAhYUAvGgs.1, Meeting ID: 894 8841 4011, Passcode: 504204.
Short summary:
Integrating renewable energy sources into the grid introduces complexities that affect its stability and efficiency. One way to address this is by optimizing energy consumption. However, this requires having an accurate thermal model, which is often difficult to develop. This thesis introduces an accurate, data-efficient, and user-friendly methodology for thermal model identification.
