Goals
Knowledge and understanding: Independent problem solving in case studies relating to the topics of the course, by planning appropriate work approaches, connecting different research approaches, evaluation of results and by implementation of knowledge from work on PhD thesis.
Curriculum
- Theoretical basis of selected topics on biotechnology
- Special fields of biotechnology, like plant tissue cultures, genetically modified organisms, gene therapy, detection of microorganisms, risk assessment etc.
- Case studies
Obligations
Completed second level studies in natural sciences or engineering or completed second level studies in other fields with proven knowledge of fundamentals in the field of this course (certificates, interview).Examination
